THE CHALLENGE
IBM has been the proud technology partner of the USTA since 1990, helping to drive innovation for all aspects of the US Open’s operations and improving fan experience throughout the grounds and across the globe.

But how do you take the multitude of complex technologies and services and contextualize them in a way that business leaders can understand? To draw enough of a connection to how these very same things can help drive innovation in their organization. 

During the tournament, IBM hosts their best clients/prospects in their corporate suites and provided behind the scenes tours to the data operations room where all the magic happens. But they never had a clear IBM narrative to help facilitate the right business conversations.


THE CONCEPT

The Living Breathing Operation AKA IBM Live.

Our concept brought the operations to life, by identifying key roles within the USTA that IBM clients could empathize with, sharing the challenges of these peers and how their IBM partnership helps them optimize their role, the fan experience and unlocks greater revenue opportunities for the organization. It’s the perfect business case study.

We also brought the technology behind the tournament to life in the suites with an artful and interactive data visualization of the grounds.
